With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, this rental home can sleep up to 11 guests. Not only is the home pet-friendly, but it’s also small child-friendly, with toddler toys and baby-locked cabinets. There is also a hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table, which is also great for older kids (or anyone who considers themself a kid at heart.)

This rustic-chic log cabin is perfect for a winter getaway (it’s located within walking distance from the snowy Appalachian Ski Mountains), although it’s still a beautiful place to stay during any month of the year. It’s located on a 1/4 acre property surrounded by a forest of Hardwoods and Rhododendrons which provides tranquility and privacy away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

In total, this two bedroom cabin can sleep up to six guests, with two people sleeping on the pull-out sofa in the living room. After you and your friends come back from the slopes, you can unwind by the fireplace or keep warm next to the outdoor fire pit with your pup by your side. There are also plenty of board games and even a smart TV with a Netflix and Amazon Prime hookup so you can stay entertained during our stay.

Perched above Blue Ridge Parkway towering above the mountains and valleys, the appropriately nicknamed “Summit View” cabin is one of the top destinations for a weekend retreat.

The floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the surroundings while also bringing in tons of light into the great room, while the outdoor deck allows you to relax in peace while still soaking in the fresh mountain air. In addition to the jaw-dropping views, the deck also has a hot tub and covered seating area.

We love the duel fireplace system (stone fireplace and wood-burning stove), as well as the wet bar and game room den with a pool table. The cabin is also decorated with luxury finishes like custom-built furniture and granite countertops.

The jetted jacuzzi-style tub in the main floor master suite also has windows that look out onto the mountains so that you can relax in style. Best of all, you’re just a five-minute drive away from all the best attractions and villages, like Blowing Rock, the Tweetsie Railroad amusement park, and the Appalachian Ski Mountain.
